Privaleged Purple hits a snag... and gets a new look
Soo...
I decided to take the time this winter to drop a new (and by new 50 miles old- new) motor in my sickle.
As i was pulling the old motor out, i decided to go a head and blow the whole bike apart and giver her a good cleanin' and a makeover, new tins, sissybar, re-wire, ect...
well... i pulled the tank off and...
WHOAHHHHHH! THAT'S BROKEN!!!!!
So I slugged, welded, and re-gussetted (sp?) And I've got the new look all mocked up
I'll keep ya updated

Winter is approachingggg....
I know, i know it's just now fall but i mean the slow season is here, winding down on trips and good weather and good riding, and the tattoo shop slows as well. But there are a few awesome things about this time of the year. New bike projects as of Sunday i will have two maybe 3. I'm completely redoing the privaleged purple honda in light of my most recent findings (check the anchor blog) and I have a should-be quick project as well as a long-term project; provided all goes well at Sunday's swapmeet. All the while trying to get the bodywork/paint done on the Ranchero. The other awesome thing is I can focus more on art stuff i.e; painting flash and finishing up larger in-prog tattoos (eh-hem ya'll know who you are lets get in and get-em knocked out). so without further ado here's a sneek peek of some of the recent paints that have been goin down at the shop for a flash collection at Tower Classic tattoo in STL in November.

Ralph Wayne's Vintage backyard Nat'ls!!!!!!!
Ralph Wayne's was today, my favorite event of the year... every year.
So I got up bright and early to a brisk (by brisk I mean I froze my balls off) 41 degree(that's really cold rollin down the highway on the skoot) ride out to the South KC area after some
much needed coffee. We like getting there early for a prime parking spot up front and you get to
watch everybody else roll in. here's what i found!
PANS, SHOVELS, AND PANSHOVELS... AND CRAZY FRANKS FENDERS(well not orig. but cool lookalikes, there was actually one wayyy better but my pic was too blurry)

Irish Rich
If you don't know him... get to...!!!!!
This dude rules!
So... the story goes about 50 miles into our Doin' It Trip (aka born free or bust) I realize my front end is still
f*ck#d, but I tuffed out (an I do mean T-U-F-F ed) the wiggle jiggle all the way to Denver where flying weasel Michael had arranged for us to make a stop at Irish Rich's for some insight and help with my front end problems.
As far as showing up to a chopper guru's place of bizz was a little unnerving for a little peon finklestien shit kid like myself. I was a mess tired from the road, out of my element, meeting wayyyy too many new folks, spilling fork oil all over the place when quantities were limited. (I hope this paints a chaotic picture) All the while Irish Rich is theee coolest dude ever, totally chill and teaching me all the why's as we worked out the hows. I love that soo much. I mean its fun and all to watch somebody put something together and usually after that I can mimic that fairly well, but It is way more awesome to know why it has to be done that way and how it works.
Ricky showed up shortly after and we band-aided the problem, It never actually got fixed but the point is I learned a bunch from Rich and his hospitality alone was so awesome. I'll never forget this experience.
Anyways... whew, that bladiblahblahblah rant was ridiculous...
In a few less words If you don't know Irish Rich you should
Irish Rich thank you
everybody else check out his blog Applied Machete
irishrichcustomcycles.blogspot.com/
chopper encyclopedia himself showing me the way to chopper glory. haha
all the while, lending a helping hand and garage and tools to Twin City Boys Dave and Gator

"not weed... wheat"
well the story behind this tattoo is way too long, but basically I drew this up for a guy and there was a misunderstanding, so this drawing sat taped up to the wall till a fellow tattooer came by to say hello and he says to me. "did somebody get this?... I want it"
sorry for poor quality phone pic, a fun tattoo nonetheless

tried some new things on this one, that bahama blue is going to need a second coat.
-That's all for now, I'll try to be more consistent in this updating of things, also my bike has been getting a step by step makeover and I will snap a flick or two once its changes are complete, same goes for the Ranchero, so, keep checkin' back
